I remember the Sock Wars when my kids were babies. Sniffles usually took one sock off and tossed it across the room. While I went on a sock hunt, she would remove the second sock for a quick taste. I'd tug both socks back on, ever so gently, and within minutes be asked by someone why my baby was only wearing one sock.
She's eight now, but the Sock Wars rage on. Of course she doesn't chew on them any more, but instead rolls them into a tight ball before putting them in the laundry. That's a different story though.
I just heard about a new product that I really wish I had owned eight years ago. It's called Socks On and, as the name suggests, keeps those wild socks snugly secured on Baby's feet. I may not have a need for these now, but they would definitely make a unique baby shower gift.
